How to Use STABILISE AI Ethically & Efficiently

STABILISE AI is not a replacement or a substitute for professional human support. It is an iOS and Android application and web platform (https://stabilise.ai). The iOS can be found in the App Store and the Android can be found in the Google Play Store by typing, STABILISE AI.

STABILISE AI is intended to be a private and secure digital sanctuary to engage in conversations with AI, process thoughts, and practice writing. Data entered is not being read or actively monitored, though it is stored for legal safe-keeping by both Appanzee and Google through Gemini, our current AI model used to generate texts and images. When your account, chats, or entries are deleted, they are also deleted for Appanzee. More information regarding the storage and handling of your data can be found in our privacy policy (https://blog.stabilise.ai/privacy-policy).

For medical advice, please consult licensed medical professionals. For legal advice, please consult licensed legal professionals. All opinions expressed across social media are my own through research and lived experience.

STABILISE AI has six core features. Here is what they are and how to use them effectively:

1.) Home

This is where you receive a daily image and reminder that is a positive affirmation. It’s a feel-good and open-ended way to reflect and take on your day.

2.) Journal

Journal is where you engage with an AI chatbot that is designed to help you process experiences in a safe and open-ended way. It tends to ask follow-up questions, not strictly to extend the conversation, but to encourage you to think about what is being asked before providing an answer. It is often helpful to consider what the Journal AI chatbot has said or asked and write by hand in a physical journal because you can follow your own stream of thoughts. You can also open a document on your device and follow your own trains of thought there. The primary objective is to emphasize the power of personal creative expression.

The content of your conversation is linked with Mood and Insights, both of which will be explained in greater detail in their appropriate sections. The primary factor to understand about Journal is that it is best used over time with honest information to improve accuracy and precision.

3.) Insights

Insights is a personality profiles that is split into categories beginning with Initial State and ending with Summary. This is where it becomes important to understand why you need to engage with Journal for a lengthy period of time. Similar to machine learning and a human brain, the more information you have, the higher the probability is that you will know more and be able to process enough data to avoid bias and misinformation. It is also a valuable and treasured skill to check the information provided by AI by comparing it to a trusted source that is not AI-generated, like a professional, an expert, an academic resource, or a book on the subject.

4.) Mood

Mood is related to your Journal and it is measured through the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale 42 (DASS 42). More information about DASS 42 can be found here: https://www.healthfocuspsychology.com.au/tools/dass-42/.

With enough daily Journal conversations, you will be able to visually track your moods.

5.) Dialogue

Dialogue is where you engage with a separate AI chatbot about ideas, thoughts, and questions that you do not want to be involved or integrated with the tracking of your moods or insights. It’s where you can ask questions like, “Who invented the microwave?” or “What is the Scientific Method?”

The intention is for you to pique your curiousity and provide websites and additional resources that are not AI.

6.) Sanctuary

Sanctuary is a private and secure space to enter your thoughts, record a memory, compose a journal entry, or write a poem/essay/body of work. It is a private digital blog with the option to ask for an analysis when you want an AI-generated elucidation of your written work over time.

Please note that AI models make mistakes and important information should be checked with a professional. STABILISE AI prides itself on being philosophical in nature while emphasizing the importance of active research with academic and professional sources and performing practical, positive actions for yourself, others, and the world.
